Ross Fisher beat Masters champion Angel Cabrera on the third playoff hole Saturday to set up a World Match Play Championship final against Anthony Kim. Fisher won 1-up after Cabrera needed five shots to reach the green on the final hole. Fisher had sent his second shot from 244 yards within 5 feet of the pin in fading light at the Finca Cortesin golf course.

Toledo police are looking for information through the Crime Stopper program about a vandalism incident in which someone drove and did donuts on the greens at a North Toledo golf course. Two greens, two fairways, and a tee at the Bay View Retirees course, 3900 North Summit St., were damaged between Oct. 23 and Oct. 24. Damage was estimated at $10,000, police said. JONESBORO — The property owners of Sage Meadows, a residential golf course community off Arkansas 351 in Northeast Jonesboro, are considering buying the Sage Meadows Golf Course, clubhouse and other assets connected to it, an official of the Sage Meadows Property Owners Association (POA) told The Sun.
After nearly two dozen people gathered Friday to attend the foreclosure sale of Lake Hills Golf Course, the sale was postponed until Nov. 13.
