NEW BRITAIN — An intent to purchase television advertising for Stanley Golf Course came under scrutiny by members of the Common Council Wednesday.
A roofing project underway at Twin Lakes Golf Course entails removing existing roof structure, construction of the new one, and installation of a light stone R-panel metal roof with deep green trim, said Dave Bonner, director of public services and works.

No golf action ; City’s course contract is due by Sept. 1 (Laredo Morning Times)

If the contract for a proposed municipal golf course at Las Islitas is not complete by Sept. 1, the City of Laredo will start over, solicit proposals again and possibly select another site.The council motioned to do those things at a workshop Monday night. City Council will also hear an update on contract negotiations in 30 days.
